INKAS® Armored Vehicle Manufacturing

 

  1. Read electrical schematics, blueprints, and other technical diagrams.
  2. Assemble bulletproof and retrofitted vehicles according to specifications using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
  3. Bolt, screw, clip, weld, solder or otherwise fasten together armored and non-armored vehicle parts and components to form subassemblies such as doors, seats, instrument control panels, steering columns, and axle units.
  4. Position and install mechanical and electrical components and systems, such as engine, transmission, door panels or instrument panels and axle units; pumps; wire harnesses; instrument control panels; and exhaust, brake, and air-conditioning systems.
  5. Connect cables, tubes and wires to complete assemblies and installations.
  6. Fasten seats, door panelling, headliners, carpeting, moulding, and other trim into position.
  7. Verify quality of own work and write description of defects observed on documents attached to vehicle bodies.
  8. Fit and adjust doors, hoods, and trunk lids.
  9. Perform other specific duties as directed.

 

Qualifications

 

  1. Completion of secondary school or equivalent.
  2. Minimum three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in armored vehicle manufacturing.
  3. Working experience in armored/non-armored vehicles and ability to recognize performance problems and arrange for corrective action.
  4. Ability to follow established procedures and practices and read instructions, blueprints, etc.
  5. Additional experience in an automotive OEM quality environment to ensure proper performance and compliance with acceptable quality and time standards, including, but not limited to, ISO9001, VPAM, STANAG.
  6. Must have general knowledge of health and safety and other equivalent standards.
  7. Familiarity with the use of various pneumatic and power tools, such as drills and screw guns.
  8. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  9. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

 

Wage – $23.97 per hour

Schedule: 8-hour shift
